Privacy policy

In short: Football X-Ray does not ask for your name, email or phone number, shows no ads, does not track you across apps or sites, and never sells data.
Who we are
Football X-Ray (the "app") and footballxray.com (the "website") are operated by AUTOMATEAFRICA LTD, a company registered in Nigeria ("we", "us"). Contact: privacy@footballxray.com.
What the app collects
- No account details. You don't sign up with a name, email or phone number.
- An anonymous app identifier. To link a subscription to your device, the app creates a random identifier through Google Firebase Authentication. It does not identify you personally.
- Subscription status. If you subscribe, Google Play handles the payment. We receive the purchase confirmation and subscription status from Google, never your card or bank details.
- Technical data needed to deliver the service. When the app loads predictions, Google's servers (Firebase) necessarily process your device's IP address and basic technical information to send the data. We do not use this to profile you.
The app has no advertising, no third-party analytics and no location tracking.
What the website collects
- The website uses no cookies and no analytics.
- It is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
How we use information
- To deliver predictions and show the content you have access to.
- To check and maintain your subscription.
- To keep the service secure and working.
Our legal bases are performing our agreement with you (providing the service and subscription) and our legitimate interest in running a secure service.
Who processes data for us
- Google (Firebase and Google Play) hosts our data, provides the anonymous identifier and processes payments. See Google's privacy policy.
Data may be processed outside your country, including in the European Union and the United States, under Google's safeguards.
How long we keep it
Your anonymous identifier and subscription status are kept while you use the app and deleted within 12 months of your last use, unless we must keep purchase records longer by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 or the EU/UK GDPR) you may ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how it is used. Email privacy@footballxray.com. Uninstalling the app removes its data from your device; to delete server-side data, contact us. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Football X-Ray is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date. Significant changes will also be announced in the app.
